Eliminating the sizing guessing game by delivering this product as a Sanforized denim fabric, the second part to our capsule collection with JB consisted of this classic Type 2 given a slim fit update. With all the details one can expect from a Type 2 by Japan Blue, we took the pattern a step further by including selvedge detail on either cuff and along the entire front two panels of the jacket. Furthermore, we switched out the generic cotton canvas pocket flap liner for the Indigo Sashiko fabric seen throughout the collection.

Although this is the third run of this jacket, previous runs were under 30 pieces each (25 & 28, respectively), with a total of less than 90 pieces of this jacket every produced. The leather patch has been changed on this run to a darker brown color, and sewn into the back yoke as per design.

*Model is pictured wearing a size 38. He weighs 59kg (130 pounds) and is 178cm (5’11”) tall.
